What is the time commitment for completing the University of Saint Mary MBA online education program?
This is an accelerated program that may be completed in as little as one year, if you take two classes each term. You can also choose to take one class at a time and complete in as few as two years. Courses are offered in eight-week-long sessions. Most students plan on spending about 15 hours a week on coursework, per class.
If it's an online program, will my degree be considered as professional as a traditional degree?
The material covered in the University of Saint Mary MBA program will be the same as a traditional on-campus degree.
Because it's online, can I can choose when to do my coursework?
Yes, the online format allows students to complete coursework on their own schedule from anywhere as long as they have a computer and an Internet connection. This allows more students to work while pursuing their MBA degree.

I've already completed some work on an MBA. Can I transfer my credits?
Upon approval, you may transfer up to nine credit hours of comparable coursework from another graduate or professional degree program. Credit hours for MGT 795 Strategic Management and Ethics, which is the program's capstone course, may not be transferred into the program. Requests for transfer credit are subject to the requirements described in the graduate division academic policies.
Is there a comprehensive final exam?
A comprehensive final assessment is required to complete the program. That provides the student with the opportunity to demonstrate the ability to analyze, critique, synthesize, and integrate critical ideas, concepts, theory, research, and practical experience. The assessment takes the form of a description, analysis, investigation and/or explanation of important business/management problems, issues, or in selected business cases. The assessment is generally done in conjunction with capstone course MGT 795 Strategic Management and Ethics.

Are exams proctored?
For most courses, final exams will be completed in the online classroom.
Will I need to visit the main campus?
No. You will do all MBA online education coursework online. You may participate in graduation ceremonies on the main campus in Leavenworth, Kansas, which take place in May.
What is the tuition rate for online courses?
Tuition for the MBA is currently $598 per credit hour. Please note that tuition and fees are subject to change.
