Linda King received her BSN from Pittsburg State University and her Master of Science in Nursing (MS, APRN-CNS) from the University of Kansas School of Nursing, and her Ph.D. (in education) from the University of Kansas. She has been a nurse educator for over 13 years. She has been certified in Infection Control, and is currently a certified nurse educator (CNE). She has presented statewide and nationally, and is a member of the American Nurse Association (ANA) and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Linda's experience includes OB nursing, med-surg, ICU, correction's nursing, Employee Health, and Infection Control. She was the Assistant Dean of Technology, Online Learning, Assessment and Evaluation before taking the position at University of Saint Mary as the Director of the RN-BSN and MSN Programs.
In her spare time, she loves being with her grandsons, flower gardening, and quilting.
